"Scorpion chair" (ghế bọ cạp) is the Vietnamese nickname for a computer cockpit — a zero-gravity workstation chair. A curved overhead arm carries the monitors above your head, and in profile it looks like a scorpion tail. Keyboard, mouse, monitors and seat form one integrated rig that reclines into a Zero Gravity posture, taking load off the spine during long computer sessions.

Manufacturer list prices currently run from $2,499 to $4,199 depending on model and configuration. IW-320 is the value entry at $2,499; T-Rex is the flagship at $4,099–$4,199. The key is the Zero Gravity posture: the backrest reclines to roughly 128–170° with knees raised near heart level, so upper-body weight spreads across the whole backrest instead of loading the lumbar discs. Monitors hang above eye level, so your neck stays neutral. It is not a medical device, though — if you have an existing spinal condition, check with your doctor, and still get up to move every 60–90 minutes.

In practice, budget at least 2.2 × 1.6 m of clear floor per chair, plus 60–80 cm behind it for full recline. Under 12 m², pick IW-320 or IW-R1 — they are the most compact. Manticore and T-Rex take the most space. Send us your room dimensions on Zalo and we will sketch a layout before you commit.

It varies by model: Dream Pod takes one 49" ultrawide or two 32" panels; SK Scorpion, IW-R1 and R1 Pro take one 49" or three 32"; Manticore, IW-320 and T-Rex go up to five. Custom mounts are available for 2×49"/2×57" Samsung Odyssey G9 or a single 55" Odyssey Ark.

No. The chair includes the frame, seat, keyboard tray and monitor mount system. Monitors, PC, keyboard and mouse are yours to supply — which lets you pick exactly the panels you want and keeps the cost down.

Almost any monitor with standard VESA 75 × 75 mm or 100 × 100 mm holes fits, flat or curved. An iMac needs a VESA adapter. Recommended total monitor load is up to 24 kg, with a maximum panel height around 61 cm.

These are built to order, so expect roughly 6–9 weeks from deposit, covering production plus sea freight to Vietnam. Custom colours or special options add 2–3 weeks of production. We update you at each stage over Zalo.

The manufacturer provides one year of free replacement parts and two years on the structural frame. If something fails, we run a video call to identify the exact part, ship the replacement, and walk you through fitting it live — far faster than shipping an entire chair back.

Yes. Chairs ship in a wooden crate on a pallet, disassembled, and are built on site. IW-320 in particular splits into small sub-assemblies, so narrow stairwells and lift-less buildings are manageable. Send photos of your stairwell and entrance and we will plan the carry in advance.

The chair arrives unassembled and needs two people and about 1.5–3 hours depending on model. Manticore is the easiest; T-Rex and IW-320 have more parts. Step-by-step video instructions are included, and we support you live over video call throughout.

A deposit confirms the production order, with the balance due before delivery. Domestic bank transfer is supported. Deposit amount, payment schedule and delivery commitments are all written into the order confirmation sent over Zalo before any money moves.

SK Scorpion reclines nearly flat and T-Rex reaches 170° — both are comfortable for a 20–30 minute rest mid-shift. They are not beds, so overnight sleeping is not recommended, but for a nap at your workstation they work very well.
